Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Order information — your name, email address, shipping address, the items you bought, and the amount paid.
• Messages — anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
• Newsletter — your email address, if you choose to join the Farm List.
• Basic site usage — pages viewed and general interactions, used to understand what people are looking for. Your basket is also stored in your own browser so it survives a refresh; that stays on your device.

Payments and card details

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiry, and security code are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form and are never sent to, seen by, or stored on this website or by Laurel Gap Farm. We receive only what we need to fulfil your order: your name, email, shipping address, order contents, and whether the payment succeeded. Stripe's own privacy policy governs their handling of payment data.

How we use your information

• To pack, ship, and confirm your order, and to send tracking.
• To answer your questions and handle returns or damaged items.
• To send farm news and new-batch announcements, if you signed up for them.
• To understand which products and pages people are interested in.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We don't send marketing email to people who haven't asked for it.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the shop: our payment processor (Stripe), shipping carriers so your package can be delivered, our website and database hosting, our email provider, and analytics or advertising measurement tools where enabled. Each receives only what it needs, and we may also share information where the law requires it.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your basket working and to measure site traffic. When enabled, analytics and advertising measurement tools (such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) may set cookies to help us understand which ads and pages lead to orders. These tools receive page and event information — not your payment details. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the basket and checkout may not work correctly if cookies are blocked entirely.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for our business and tax records. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Contact messages are kept while they're useful for supporting you.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the Farm List at any time, and you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email us and we'll take care of it. We may need to keep basic order records where the law requires.

Children

This shop is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
